This information has been confirmed in a directive recently signed by Senior Assistant Secretary of the Finance Department, Shahriar Jamil.
It is learned that this money for re-appropriation will be provided from the budget of the 2024-25 fiscal year. Through this allocation, MPO-listed teachers will get financial assurance in receiving allowances.
The decision to re-appropriate this allocation was taken based on a memorandum from the Secondary and Higher Education Department dated April 21.

The Finance Department’s instructions state that the government’s existing financial rules and regulations must be followed properly in terms of spending the money. At the same time, this amount will be considered as part of the revised budget authority for the current fiscal year 2014-15 by adjusting it in the relevant code.

The directive further states that the codes from which re-appropriation has been made cannot be claimed for additional allocation later. Two copies of the government order issued by the administrative department should be sent to the finance department for necessary action.

A copy of the government order in this regard has been directed to be sent to the Finance Department. A copy has also been sent to the office of the Director General of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education.
